Weapons are a type of category in Cube World.

Weapons and Armor are necessary for combat and defense.

The Steam version and Alpha Version use weapons differently but they work the same way.

When you equip weapons your stats are enhanced, there are different tiers of enemies that define their strengths.

Rarity[ | ]

White Text enemies are the weakest with regular armor and weapons, where Yellow Text enemies are equipped with legendary armor and weapons and can pose a problem for any player.

  • White text variants of armor are regular variants of armor with one star.
  • Green text variants of armor are are magic variants of armor with two stars.
  • Blue text variants of armor are are rare variants of armor with three stars.
  • Purple text variants of armor are epic variants of armor with four stars.
  • Yellow text items are legendary variants of armor with five stars.

Rarities come with several affixes per tier. Each item and tier is bound to a maximum and minimum amount of stats per tier. Specific Tiers come with specific affixes and specific colors.

Exclusive to the Alpha Version, weapons and armor can be Adapted with Platinum Coins.

In the Steam Version, Adapting and Platinum Coins no longer exist.

Trivia[ | ]

  • Exclusive to the Alpha Version, Formulas are recipes sold by village vendors and dropped by monsters. Formulas are right-clicked to learn the recipe, when the player already has that recipe they wont learn it again. Players cannot learn recipes until they are the right level for it.
  • In the Steam Version, Gnome Suppliers were added and must be rescued to "unlock" better armor to be sold at vendors in the region. Without saving the gnome supplier, the vendors will only sell worn items. Not only that, but Books of Crafting must be obtained from missions to unlock better recipes in your crafting menu for that region.
