CityMap

An undiscovered village on the map. ( steam version )

Every Region can have a few Villages. Villages offer Crafting stations, Pet Food, Formulas, and Adaptation, along with various equipment players can buy from shop vendors.

You can also find Missions by talking to NPCs. Different styles of villages appear in different biomes.

In the Alpha Version, shops are harder to find in town as they are not individually marked on the map.

Exclusive to the Steam Version of Cube World are Flight Masters.

Buildings[ | ]

In the Steam Version, Crafting stations can be found anywhere around the city center.

Stations include the Clothier, the Smithy and the Workshop.

In the Alpha Version, crafting stations are in the Crafting District and are not individually marked on the map, making the player have to visually locate which building they need to use.

You can get 3 or 4 cubes out of a single nugget. This also applies to Linen Yarn, Cotton Yarn and Silk Yarn.

Spinning Wheel[ | ]

The Spinning Wheel is a crating tool at the Clothier.

The Spinning Wheel turns Cotton Capsule into Cotton Yarn, Plant Fiber into Linen Yarn and Cobweb into Silk Yarn.

Loom[ | ]

The Loom turns yarns into Cloth Armor.

Smithy

The Smithy.

Smithy[ | ]

The Smithy is a crafting station used for crafting metals like Silver, Gold and Iron into various weapons and armor.

Furnace[ | ]

The Furnace is used to refine Nuggets into 1-4 Material Cubes (Iron, Silver, Gold).

To craft items you will need refined cubes.

Anvil[ | ]

Players can turn Metal Cubes into Amulets, Rings, Armor and Weapons.

Customization Bench[ | ]

The Customization Bench or metal workbench is one of the more unique features of Cube World.

It allows players to customize Weapons per voxel, additionally making them stronger as well as changing their appearance.

Workshop

The Workshop.

Workshop[ | ]

This building's use is crafting various wood weapons.

Saw[ | ]

The Saw's only use is turning Wood Logs into 1-4 Wood Cubes.

Workbench[ | ]

A player can use Wood Cubes (with other items) to create Greatmaces, Wood Wands, Staves, Bows, Crossbows and Boomerangs.

Guild Receptionist[ | ]

This is the replacement for the class trainers, see this NPCs to switch your Specialisation.

Pets[ | ]

Collies, Cats, Sheep, Terriers and Pigs can be found in a city.

Vendors[ | ]

Similarly to crafting stations, vendors can be found anywhere around the center of a city.

In the Steam Version, vendors have a far more limited inventory without Formulas.

Higher rarity Armor & Weapons and an overall increase in available Equipment sold can be achieved by saving the Gnome Supplier.

Armor Shop[ | ]

The Armor Shop sells Armor for the four Classes.

Weapon Shop[ | ]

The Vendor in this Shop will sell Weapons to adventureres of all classes, though, like the Armor Shop, not for every level.

The Identifier[ | ]

The Identifier can identify Leftovers for a small price, depending on their rarity.

Leftovers can yield an item one tier rarer than the Leftovers.

In the Steam Version, Leftovers are bound to a region and will yield gear bound to that same region, even if the leftovers are identified elsewhere.

Decorations[ | ]

Cities often have decorations with no purpose. Such as small treasure chests and boxes.

In the Steam Version, large chests resemble the small chests from alpha.

Inns[ | ]

Multiple Inns are scattered throughout villages and can speed time time to the next morning if you don't want to travel at night.

In the Steam Version, there is only one Inn per village opposed to the multiple that can be found in Alpha Version villages.

Talking to the innkeeper between 6:00PM and 6:00AM will make it 7:00 in the morning for a cost of 10 coins.

In the Alpha Version, talking to an Innkeeper will instantly reset the time of day for free without dialog.
